Reserved category students enjoy scholarships or stipends from the State Government. A large number of female students enjoy financial help from the State Government under KanyasreePrakalpa. The Students’ Union also lends their support to this cause. Students get financial support to carry on different Research Projects under the supervision of Departmental Teachers. They are also financially supported to present Papers/Posters in different Seminars.

KANYASHREE & STUDENTS CREDIT CARD SCHEME

KanyashreePrakalpa is a conditional cash transfer scheme under the Department of Women Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal, with the aim of empowering the girl child and encouraging education among teenage girls. It is a unique welfare measure initiated not only to promote studies among women but also prevent marriage prior to the legal age of 18.

Eligible girl students are hereby advised to collect the form from the college office.
