Charuchandra College is now an important name in the arena of Sports. We are proud that our student Swapna Barman got the GOLD and SILVAR medal in International level. Every year students of our college become Champion or Runner-up in Athletics, Football, Badminton, Swimming, Rowing and other sports field in various District and State level meet. The College also organizes an Annual Sports Meet for students, teachers and staff alike.

Extra-curricular activities for the students are always encouraged and sponsored by the College Authority. Participation of our students in cultural activities, both inside the campus and outside, is highly encouraged.

An Annual function on the College Foundation Day is organized by the College authorities which show-cases the talent of teachers, students and staff alike. A prize distribution ceremony is also held on that day to encourage the students to excel in academics too.An Annual Social is organized by the Students’ Union which is the high point of their cultural activity. Moreover, the Students’ Union organizes cultural programmes on the occasion of RabindraJayanti, Independence Day, Republic Day, Teachers’ day, BhasaDibas, Basantautsab and others. ‘NavinBaran’ is another major cultural event organized by Students’ Union.

The Annual Sports Day is observed with great enthusiasm every year on the Rabindra Sarobar Lake ground. The Sports Committee of the College organizes this annual event in which students, teachers and non-teaching staff participate. Trophies, medal and certificates are given to the winning participants. Students also participate in the Inter-College Sports Meet organized by Government Colleges annually at the S.A.I. Complex, Salt Lake.
