Departmental/ Academic Facilities

Keeping in view the Present Pandemic situation, Online classes are taken by the faculties of all Departments in a regular basis.

• All the Departments have been provided with computers, printers, air-conditioners and adequate equipment.
• All the laboratories are well-equipped with all sorts of relevant apparatus/instruments, chemicals and specimens.
• The Departments of Mathematics, Economics, Zoology and Botany have been provided with Smart Board facilities and pocket projectors. These departments use communication technology to enhance, optimize and compliment age old tradition of chalk-board style of teaching, adding to it the new age edge, with the use of infrastructure and multimedia. The chapters of the syllabus come alive with presentations, photographs and audio-visual elements. This fosters better student teacher learning experience. Worldwide research shows that ICT enabled classrooms help students learn better and in a more effective way.
• The Departments which have a large number of enrolments have been provided with microphones and speakers.
• There are portable podium with in-built microphones and amplifiers for usage in seminars and conferences.
• Access to Internet and photocopying facilities are available at well stocked College Library.
• There is a well maintained indoor garden having rare and medicinal plants.
• Both teachers and students have been given complete freedom to interact, to ask for Special/Practice classes, to inspect the answer-scripts, to consult the Reference Books for better performances in their Final Examinations.
• The teachers of Charuchandra College, which caters to all categories of students irrespective of caste, religion or economic background, including some first generation learners have tried their best to maintain a standard in academic performances by taking Special/Remedial Classes, Tutorials, Practice Classes for Practical Papers and beyond class room counselling for the slow learners.
