INTRODUCTION

The Department of Political Science started its function from the year 1947. This Department offers both honours and general CBCS Degree course as per the guidelines provided by the University of Calcutta. The Department has two full time teachers, two SACTs and one guest faculty. Informative lectures, study materials and also interactive session are the basic content of the teaching-learning process.

• Organises Internal assessment to ascertain the receptivity of the students. It finds out the drawbacks and create motivation to minimise the stress of the young minds.
• To prepare Term Paper/ Projects so that students can be well acquainted with the current affairs.
• The students used to participate in the Inter college mock Parliament competition arranged by the Department of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal.
